Pre-assembled sensor array with galvanized steel mounting pole makes setup quick and easy. Radiation shield protects the temperature/humidity sensor from solar radiation and other sources of radiated and reflected heat. Weather-resistant shelter protects the sensor interface module from the elements. Locate the console inside the shelter along with the sensor interface module, or run the included cable to locate the console indoors. Includes a single 100' (30 m) cable for use between the shelter and the console.

In 2001, the National Weather Service adopted a new standard for calculating wind chill. This station uses the older standard in place prior to that date. For the newer formula, see our Vantage Pro line of weather stations or add our WeatherLink datalogger and software package. WeatherLink calculates and displays windchill using the newer formula, no matter which weather station you have.
