Installation is a snap with our EZ-Mount Advanced Stations. The pre-assembled sensor array with galvanized steel mounting pole makes setup quick and easy.The radiation shield protects the temperature or temperature/humidity sensor from solar radiation and other sources of radiated and reflected heat. Weather resistant shelter protects the sensor interface module from the elements. Locate the console inside the shelter, or run the included cable to locate the console indoors. Comes with a single 100' (30 m) cable for use between the shelter and the interface cable adapter module and a 25' (7.5 m) cable for use between the interface cable adatper module and the console.

Includes GroWeather console with barometer, anemometer, rain collector, temperature sensor, termperature/humidity sensor, solar radiation sensor, leaf wetness sensor, ET data logger, radiation shield, weather-resistant shelter, and AC-power adapter.

In 2001, the National Weather Service adopted a new standard for calculating wind chill. This station uses the older standard in place prior to that date. For the newer formula, see our Vantage Pro line of weather stations or add our WeatherLink datalogger and software package. WeatherLink calculates and displays windchill using the newer formula, no matter which weather station you have.
