What's New in 3.9.3
- FMS is now compatible with MapPoint 2009.
- A Graphical Day Report has been added.
- A Hard Acceleration Report has been added.
- CarChip "restore settings" feature has been added.
- A "Set Anomalous Vehicle" command is now available in FMS. NOTE: This feature is not for pre-CAN versions of CarChip. Vehicles and protocols supoprted depend on the CarChip's firmware version.
- Oracle login password has been encrypted to improve security.
- Connection and query timeout for Microsoft SQLServer has been increased to 120 seconds.
- Calculation of Time Over Speed has been improved to be more accurate.
- The calculation of Max Download Days in the Driver Safety Score report has been modified for accuracy.
- SmartCard Reader Driver has been upgraded in FMS Setup programs.
- Print and Print Preview for the Accident Log Report have been fixed.
- This release was built with CarChip.dll 3.2.2.0.
What's New in 3.9.2
- Google Earth and Google Maps can be used as mapping tools, in addition to Map Point. Mapping with Google Earth or Google Maps requires an internet connection.
- New wireless device firmware version 10E0 is available in this release. User may update the firmware of Base Station and On-Board Modules through Wireless-Upgrade Firmware.
- To improve performance and reduce the file size of the Access Database the Fleet Management software will compact the database when it is closed.
- Import/Export, FTP Import/Export, and Backup/Restore now support exporting the TroubleCodes and ReadinessCodes database tables.
- Database->Maintenance menu is now enabled/disabled properly according to user's privileges.
- Current location is used as the default selection for the Company Locations list in filter dialogs of the Driver Safety Score report and Driver Safety Score Summary report.
- The Company Name field in Add/Edit Company Location dialog now allows a company name of up to 40 characters and will horizontally scroll automatically.
- In the Trip Summary Report dashes are displayed in the Idle Time column if the trips are from a DriveRight500.
- FMS has been tested with MySQL Community server 5.1 and the compatibility issue in the Driver Score Report has been fixed. MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver will be default driver for the Database Connection dialog for MySQL database.
- This release was built with CarChip.dll 3.2.1.0.
What's New in 3.9.1
- A new comprehensive report is added to this release to show Vehicle Activities. This report can be accessed from the Reports menu or the Vehicle Activity Report toolbar button.
- Weekend and Night settings are moved from Usage Report to system level and can be accessed from Setup-->Preferences. These settings are now shared by Usage Report, Wireless Download and Vehicle Activity Report.
- Bug Fix: GPS map now shows coordinates between 0° and 3° Latitude and 0° and 3° Longitude.
- Improved the ID validation when add/set CarChip or DriveRight device.
- This software release includes the new CarChip software v2.3.2
- This software release was built with CarChip.dll 3.2.1.0.
Note: The Oracle database engine is not compatible with Windows Vista at this time.

This FMS Data Transfer Utility (DTU) program is a utility program that transfers data from a CarChip or DriveRight device to an FMS database using a very minimal user interface.
Note: This is only for users with FMS version 3.9.0 or higher.
This utility is to be downloaded and distributed by FMS administrators only. It will require proper database configuration before being distributed to end users.
Required: This DriveRight update requires purchase of a DriveRight console or CarChip Fleet Pro (#8246), FMS software v3.9.0 or above and a PC running Windows 2000/XP/Vista.

- The calibration number calculation for selected VSS PPM values was fixed for 500AL.
- The file debug.txt is now created when the program is started to assist with debugging any program startup problems the user may encounter.
